Best of IBC Vision Research® has been honored with a "Best of IBC" award for the Phantom V12.1 digital high-speed camera. The V12.1 was shown in live demos shooting 720p footage at almost 7000 frames-per-second, catching a paintball as it exited the barrel of a paintball gun and exploded onto a plexiglass wall. With its high resolution, high light sensitivity and super-high speed, the V12.1 is emerging as a preferred camera choice for super slow-motion in the sports broadcast market. |

The awards are named after Mario Orazio, a pseudonym for a nameless engineer and a renowned technology columnist for TV Technology who pens the popular column "The Masked Engineer." The awards are given out annually at the NAB convention to companies that demonstrate forward thinking and technical excellence in their products. |
