Using a proprietary sensor design and existing Phantom v7.3 camera electronics, the Phantom ir300 provides extended spectral response beyond visible light into the infrared spectrum. The extended IR response allows you to image events not previously visible to CMOS-based digital high-speed cameras. While most CMOS sensors start losing sensitivity rapidly above 600nm, the Phantom ir300 extends that point to 800nm giving it a usable range to about 1100nm. |

The Phantom CineStation is a simple setup that connects to a PC using Giga Bit Ethernet. Users simply snap in a CineMag to the CineStation and use the supplied software to view each Cine stored on the CineMag, play the Cine files over the dual HD-SDI ports or component video ports, set in- and out-points to trim the Cines, and save the files to a connected hard disk drive. To help speed the download process even further, an optional 10 Giga Bit Ethernet connection is available. The Phantom CineStation comes with dual HD-SDI outputs allowing for 4:4:4 playback of the recorded Cine files at all HD formats (except 60p which is 4:2:2), making it easy to review and select shots to download and archive. Component video is also supported. The Phantom CineStream is just the first in a family of connectivity solutions Vision Research is bringing to market in 2010 and beyond. An innovative new feature from Vision Research called Image-Based Auto-Trigger may be installed on your Phantom camera. This feature allows the user to trigger the camera from motion detected in the live image. The camera may also provide an external trigger signal based on the Image-Based Auto-Trigger to be used for synchronizing multiple Phantom cameras. |
