I'm having a problem with PCC and Windows 7. It installs, runs, and play cines fine. The issue is when I try to copy a cine (or cci) file from one location to another. If the destination folder is set to display thumbnail views, windows explorer crashes. If the destination folder is set to detail view, there is no problem. This only happens with cine or cci files, avi's and mpg's work fine. Also, if I uninstall PCC, I can copy cci's and cine's without a problem. Also, if the cine or cci file is less than about 100 MB, it will copy fine regardless of folder view setting. It seems that Windows is choking when it tries to generate the thumbnail for a large cine file simultaneous with a copy operation. If I change the folder view to detail, copy a large cine, and then change the view to thumbnail, no problem. Obviously I could just permanently set my folder view to details, but I don't want to. Has anyone seen this problem before?

What PCC version are you using. It's been a bug with the thumbnails and the more recent versions fixed this problem.

Please check that you have the latest versions of Phantom dlls (PhCon, PhFile, PhInt) in Program Files (x86).

Phantom thumbnails are working only with Explorer 32. For 64 version of explorer the thumbnails are not displayed properly but it should not crash.

I checked the DLLs, I've got
PhCon=10.3.697.0
PhFile=10.3.697.0
PhInt=10.3.697.0

The machine is a brand new Dell Precision M6500, running Windows 7, 32 bit. Initially, without thinking I installed 675.2, when explorer started crashing, I looked into it and saw that 675.2 was not necessarily Windows 7 compatible. I uninstalled it without incident and installed PCC 1.3.697.

We could reproduce this Explorer crash too.
We will fix this new bug in the future version.
Thank you for your help and we regret any inconvenience.
