I have 28 cine files, all recorded on the same day. I want to convert them in avi format using Xvid or DivX compression codec.
DivX codec (last one) does not work at all.
XVid codec worked just for the first nine movies... then any attempt to convert using xvid just crash the application.
Other codecs, however, work.

It happens both using camera control software (663) or viewer.

The cine files (not converted) work perfectly in the viewer.

Anyone experienced the same?

I tried to cut the cine and convert it again, but it did not work.

Any clue?

Thank you

Hi,
Are your 28 files of the same width and height ?
You obviously are aware that some codecs need to treat frames with a width multiple of 2 or 4 or other.
What kind of program do you use for encoding the avi files ? you might try virtualdub

Regards
T
