I tested a lighting panel called "Creamsource" on Phantom HD at high speed (300fps, 1000fps) . Its a daylight balanced source and produce NO flicker at all. Dead steady on waveform monitor.
It is reasonably powerful unit considering the size.

I also tested a HMI ballast which has a capability of selecting 50HZ, 100HZ and 300HZ in frequency.
It creates harsh flicker at 50HZ as we all knew but with 100 HZ, 300 HZ, the amount of flickers are about 1/8 of a stop with waveform monitor reading and eyes couldn't pick up its flickers. I tested at 500fps, 1000fps, 1500fps (with lower resolution) and all OK.

Yes, we carry the Creamsource in the US and we do find it works quite well with Phantoms I often use one for camera demos.
