Phantom Flex4K Receives TVB Europe Best of IBC 2013 Recognition

TVB Europe included the Phantom Flex4K as one of the best products for Acquisition at the 2013 IBC trade show in Amsterdam. Every year TVB Europe and the IBC Daily work together to select the best and most innovative products across different categories in the TV and broadcast industry.

 

Phantom Flex4K Receives Mario Award at NAB 2013

Vision Research was honored to receive TV Technology’s Mario Award at the 2013 National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas.  The Mario Award recognizes new products that are considered significant technical breakthroughs in the video production industry. The awards are given out annually at the NAB Show to companies that demonstrate forward thinking and technical excellence in their products.

 

Phantom Flex4K Receives Best-of-Show Black Diamond Award – 2013

Digital Video Magazine’s Black Diamond Award was presented to Vision Research to honor the Phantom Flex4K as a best of show product at NAB 2013.  The Black Diamond Awards Recognize outstanding achievement in the advancement of video technology

 

Vision Research Colleagues Honored with Academy Award

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® has selected four colleagues from Vision Research, to receive Scientific and Engineering Academy Awards for their contributions to the design and development of Phantom high-speed digital cameras.

Popular Science, the world’s largest science and technology magazine, chooses 100 innovative tech products and gadgets each year to be included in their annual Best of What’s New issue, the magazine’s best-read issue of the year. Awards are distributed among the top 100 products in 11 various categories, including Automotive, Gadgets, Home Entertainment, and Home Tech.

 

IABM  - 2011 Design and Innovation Award.

The International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers (IABM), which serves as the authoritative voice of the broadcast and media technology supply industry worldwide, has named Vision Research’s Phantom® v641 high-speed digital camera a winner of the 2011 IABM Design and Innovation Award.

 

NATAS 2009 - 2010 Emmy

Vision Research has won an Emmy® from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) 2009-2010 Technical/Engineering Achievement Awards. The Emmy was awarded in the category of “HD Super Slow Motion Systems for Acquisition, Recording, and Playback for Broadcast Entertainment and Sports Productions” in recognition of the invaluable impact of Vision Research’s high-definition, ultra-slow-motion technology on the broadcasting industry.

 

Best of IBC - 2008

Vision Research® has been honored with a "Best of IBC" award for the Phantom v12.1 digital high-speed camera. The v12.1 was shown in live demos shooting 720p footage at almost 7000 frames-per-second, catching a paintball as it exited the barrel of a paintball gun and exploded onto a plexiglass wall. With its high resolution, high light sensitivity and super-high speed, the v12.1 is emerging as a preferred camera choice for super slow-motion in the sports broadcast market.

Mario Award - NAB 2004

Presented by TV Technology Magazine recognizing the Phantom v9.0. The prestigious Mario Award was established to recognize manufacturers whose products represent significant technical breakthroughs - many of these products have gone on to significantly impact the future of video technology.

The awards are named after Mario Orazio, a pseudonym for a nameless engineer and a renowned technology columnist for TV Technology who pens the popular column "The Masked Engineer." The awards are given out annually at the NAB convention to companies that demonstrate forward thinking and technical excellence in their products.

 

Vidy Award - Best of Show - NAB 2004

Presented by Videography Magazine, recognizing Vision Research for "outstanding achievement in the advancement of the art and science of video technology" with the Phantom v9.0. "Recognition with an award is a true vote of confidence and admiration from the editorial teams of these three leading publications," claims Videography magazine editor Cristina Clapp.

Presented by Government Video Magazine recognizing the Phantom v9.0. This was the second of three Vidy awards received at NAB in 2004.

In 2002, the Phantom v5.0 was recognized as one of the most technologically significant new products of the year by R&D Magazine.
